Bright Done Right

I went for a mani-pedi yesterday and discovered that flip flops are not the best idea during a torrential downpour. I  had high hopes that spring was on the way and even went with high-viz safety pink on my finger nails. Am I feeling the neon trend this time around? I lived through the first fluorescent craze and it wasn’t pretty. Anyone remember those bicycle pants with the thick neon pink stripe down the side? It’s hard to get over remembering that…yes, I even wore them.

I’m okay with bright, done right…

  1. I am so crazy about all the bright colours going on right now. I just painted a table in a coral-orange and I can’t stop staring at it. Love that yellow chair!

  2. I adore that last pic! The art… the pops of color… all of it!!!

  3. No 6…for sure…… love that chair!

  4. Eeeeeeek! I had a pair of those shorts and a white and fluorescent pink Sunice jacket. Do you remember those? However, I do love those chairs. Perhaps the color is better on furniture/chairs??

  5. Having a bright chair in a room can definitely add a focal point to the room. I like number six as well

  6. I love bright done right… and the 80′s aren’t it! Lived through them, too ;-)
