Ro, Ro, Ro!

Hi Friends!

Just popping in to start our Monday off with a bit of chairy deliciousness. Meet Ro. Isn’t she pretty?

Designed by Jaime Hayon for Danish furniture brand, Republic of Fritz Hansen, Ro is a contemporary wingback armchair with curves and swoops that cradle those lucky enough to have a seat. She comes in 9 gorgeous colours , with leg options in both wood and metal. I love the cute back button detail, don’t you?

Ro means “tranquility” in Danish. I could totally sit back, close my eyes and relax in this elegant beauty.

Ro made her debut at the Milan Furniture Fair in April 2013, she’s available though the Republic of Fritz Hansen and retailers in September 2013.

Have a great Monday!

  1. She’s very pretty. Kind of reminds me of one of my all time favourite designs, the Grant Featherston chair. One day, I will have one ;)

    • Yes! It does look a bit like the Contour series, especially the “winged” version. Thanks for reminding me of another great chair Janis!

  2. I am very much liking the lines of this chair! Beautiful!

  3. Oh she’s got the lines of a great chair ….. so so so pretty. Her legs are just fabulous. This is sounding a little off for me to be saying these things about a girl. I better stop now but you get it :-)

  4. What a gorgeous chair, it looks so Mid Century to me, gorgeous!!

  5. She is a comfy looking chair!

  6. I agree, it does look Mid-Century – and so comfy. I’d take the purple one in a heartbeat!
